Independent chairman Quentin Woodley

Posted: August 3rd, 2022

QUENTIN Woodley was appointed by the trustees as independent chairman of the MGN Pension Scheme Trustee Board in 2018. He has a solid background in finance, investment and commercial strategy.

A chartered accountant by training, for many years he was a senior partner at international management consultants, McKinsey & Co. Having been involved with pensions since 1993, Quentin and his wife Carol, an actuary, set up their own company in 2003 to bring strategic thinking to large and complex pension schemes.

As Woodley Trustees, they now chair a portfolio of pension schemes between them. Quentin is also chair of the governing body of the University of Exeter.

“I am here to ensure the best possible future for the MGN pension scheme and its members,” says Quentin. “The trustee board is united in its determination to see its members get their benefits paid in full.”
