TERRY HOUSTON, a former Daily Record reporter and then feature writer, died on July 15 [2019]. After the Record he was news editor of the Evening Times and later an author.
His son, Stephen, also a former Daily Record reporter, said that his dad had been watching the tennis at Wimbledon in his favourite chair when he took ill. The funeral service is on Thursday, July 25, at 2.30pm, at Woodside Crematorium, Paisley.
Malcolm Speed, former managing editor at SDR&SM said: “Another of the old team gone. I worked with Terry the heyday of newspapers and when circulation was everything.”
