MIKE GAGIE, former Daily Mirror reporter, feature writer and for decades deputy Northern news editor and finally Northern news editor, died in a Manchester hospice on May 20 (2018). His funeral is on Friday, June 8, at St Ann’s RC Church, Stretford, Greater Manchester at 10.30, followed by cremation at Altrincham Crematorium at noon and a reception in the United Services Club, Southern Road, Sale.
