Brian ‘Benny’ Clements

FORMER Sporting Life greyhound man BRIAN ‘BENNY’ CLEMENTS died peacefully at home on October 25 [2023]. He was 76. His family have decided they want a small, family funeral.

Paul Duffet writes: On the Monday night before he died, Benny travelled to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with his son, Stephen, to see his beloved Spurs beat Fulham 2-0 to go two points clear at the top of the Premier League, so I’d like to think he died a happy man. In the meantime, I’m sure I speak for all of us in sending sincere condolences to Maureen, Stephen and Allison, along with granddaughters Bella, Rosie and Lily at this very sad time.
