Posted: May 13th, 2020

OLD sailor and loyal AMP supporter JIMMY BAYNES is currently at home rcovering from a minor heart attack.

But you can’t keep a good man down – and Jimmy, who is 96, said: “I’m OK now, I’m having a quiet time”

Regular visitors to this site will know a bit about Jimmy and his war-time experiences. He served with the Arctic convoys for which he received The Ushakov Medal.
