A memorial service for former Mirror deputy news editor PHIL MELLOR will take place at St Bride’s Church in Fleet Street at 11.30am on May 9 – on what would have been his 70th birthday.
The service has been organised by Phil Mellor’s son, James, who is encouraging friends and former colleagues to attend. Frank Thorne will lead the tributes.
Refreshments will be held at the Punch Tavern on Fleet Street after the service.
