From KEN MCMASTER:
My father, Donald McMaster, retired from the Daily Record process department in 1986 after many years’ service.
He will be 98 in May and my mother Georgina reaches the grand age of 94 in September. They’re both still going strong!
It was their 71st wedding anniversary on Boxing Day, and they had a lovely surprise recently when an anniversary card from the Queen popped through their letterbox, complete with royal congratulations.
Dad is still active as a TV extra, probably the oldest working in the land! Donald said: “I still get the odd call when they need an old codger like me! And it’s fun to do.”
The couple are pictured with their precious memento.
