Celebrating “Maxwell Day”

Posted: November 1st, 2017

From ROY JACKSON

COME and  join us the annual lino ops/comps gathering at the Cheshire Cheese (145 Fleet St, London EC4A 2BU), on Saturday, November 11, from 2.30 pm.

We’ve been holding this celebration since the death of Maxwell in 1991, this being the 26th year. We’re getting very thin on the ground for obvious reasons.

If there are any old comrades on the reporting side, or friends who knew any of the composing staff, stone subs etc., you’re very welcome to come and have a drink and a walk down memory lane.
