Tom Brown trained in Scotland, then worked on the Daily Express in London 1964-78 as news reporter, news and features executive, medical correspondent, home news editor. For two years he was NUJ FoC of the Daily and Sunday Express chapel. He returned to Scotland for the BBC then Scottish Daily Express, serving as trustee of Express Newspapers Pension Fund for two years. From 1982-2003 he was Daily Record and Sunday Mail columnist, political editor and assistant editor. Tom has written books on Scottish politics and football.
