PATRICIA SMYLLIE began her career in the Foreign Office (Berlin, London). She later became the Daily Mail’s junior foreign correspondent, then filled the same role at the Daily Express covering the Hungarian uprising, and Poznan riots. Patricia later worked as a feature writer and show-business reporter on the Daily Mirror and Daily Express specialising in national showbiz news and magazine features, penetrating profiles and in-depth interviews.
