You can’t keep a good man down

I HAD a visit from a Russian TV crew who wanted to do an interview for Channel 1 Russia. The weather was good and we did the interview in my front garden – social distancing was complied with, of course!

It went very well, and I love to have an opportunity to acquaint the younger generation with personal history.

I received the Ushakov Memorial Medal through the post because it is no longer possible to have presentation ceremonies. In one hand I hold the Ushakov, presented personally by the Russian ambassador in the embassy way back in 2014, and the Memorial one, presented to celebrate the end of World War II in 1945, is in my other hand.
